Lines on your face come from three completely different causes, and each one needs a different answer. Most people buy treatment for the wrong one. Work out which you have first, and the rest becomes straightforward.

One. Surface lines from dehydration. Fine, shallow, and they seem to come and go. They look worse when your skin feels tight and better after a week of looking after it. These are not wrinkles at all. They are a water problem, and they soften or disappear entirely once your skin is properly hydrated and your barrier is working. If your lines change week to week, start here, and start cheap.
Two. Static wrinkles from collagen loss. Visible when your face is completely relaxed. You are not frowning, not smiling, and the line is still there. Your skin has lost structure: collagen production falls year on year and existing elastin degrades, so the skin no longer fills itself out. Hydration will not touch these, because nothing was ever missing water. What works is rebuilding the structure, and that means treatments that reach the deeper layer: collagen induction through microneedling, or radiofrequency to firm and stimulate. This is the category where treatment genuinely changes things.
Three. Expression lines from muscle movement. Deep lines across the forehead, between the brows, and at the outer eyes, which appear or deepen when you move your face. These are caused by the muscle underneath contracting the same way thousands of times. Resurfacing does not fix them and neither does tightening, because the cause is not the skin. We will tell you honestly that this is not something our treatments address, rather than sell you a course that softens the surface around them and leaves the line where it was.
Most people have a mix. At your consultation we will tell you which of your lines will respond to what we do, and which will not.
We tell you which of your lines are treatable and which are not.
If your lines are dehydration, we start there rather than selling the expensive route.
Static lines respond to treatments that reach the layer where the structure was lost.
Surface quality improves alongside, so skin reads as fresher overall.
Sent to microneedling, RF or a facial based on your skin rather than on a package.
Expression lines are muscle-driven. We say that plainly instead of overselling.

The consultation is where this gets decided, and it is worth having even if you book nothing. We look at your face relaxed and then moving, which is how the three types separate, and we assess your skin's hydration and condition. You leave knowing which of your lines will respond to which treatment, which will respond to your routine alone, and which will not respond to anything we offer.
Recovery depends on the route we recommend, so the detail sits on the relevant treatment page and comes up at your consultation. What is true across all of them: collagen takes months to build, so real change in static lines appears gradually across a course and keeps improving for a while after it finishes. Surface lines from dehydration improve far faster, sometimes within days, because nothing structural has to be rebuilt. And expression lines will not change, because our treatments do not act on muscle. Knowing which of yours is which is what stops you being disappointed.
Relax your face completely in good light. If the line disappears, it is either a surface dehydration line or an expression line. Then move your face: if it only appears when you frown or smile, it is an expression line. If it is visible when you are completely relaxed and stays there, it is a static wrinkle from collagen loss. Those three need three different answers, which is why getting this right first matters.
Honest answer: usually not, and this is the most common disappointment in this area. Forehead lines are typically expression lines, caused by the muscle underneath contracting repeatedly. Resurfacing and tightening act on skin, not muscle, so they improve the texture around the line without removing the line. If your forehead lines are visible when your face is completely still, then there is a structural element too and that part can be improved.
For static lines, treatments that rebuild structure: collagen induction through microneedling, or radiofrequency to firm the deeper layer. Those act where the loss happened. For fine surface lines, proper hydration and a resurfacing facial does more than either, and it costs less. The consultation decides which of those you need, and it is often not the expensive one.
It will soften fine surface lines, mostly by hydrating skin properly and smoothing texture, and that is a real visible improvement. It will not remove lines that stay put when your face is relaxed, because those come from structural loss deeper down. Any facial sold as wrinkle removal is overselling itself.
Surface lines can improve within days once hydration is corrected. Collagen work is slower: expect gradual change across a course, with improvement continuing for a while after the last session, because your skin keeps building for months. Anyone promising a visible change in wrinkles after one session is describing hydration, not collagen.
When your skin shows something you want to change, rather than at a particular birthday. Collagen production starts falling in your twenties, so prevention genuinely beats correction, and the most effective prevention is daily sunscreen. That matters more than the age you start treatments.
Ask us at your consultation rather than assume from this page. What we can tell you is that expression lines are muscle-driven, and the treatments described here work on skin rather than on muscle. We would rather point you to the right thing than take a booking for the wrong one.
